With the birth of so many new animals and a continued interest in the new Arctic Edge exhibit, the Buffalo Zoo announced its highest attendance since 1987.
The Zoo says it saw 52,000 more guests in 2016 than the previous for a total of 538,100 visitors.
This is the highest attendance the Zoo has seen since 1987 when visitation reached 545,800.
