Western New York healthcare workers are traveling to Albany for a massive rally in support of the $15 minimum wage.

More than 200 United Healthcare workers representing Upstate New York boarded buses Tuesday morning.

They will join thousands of workers from across the state to help sway lawmakers into passing the wage hike by the end of March.

A study by economists at the University of California-Berkeley predicts that raising New York state’s minimum wage to $15 would improve the living standards of more than 3 million people.
