The Erie County District Attorney's Office announced today that 36-year-old Cuansharee Palmer has been arraigned and indicted on:
- 1 count of manslaughter in the 2nd degree
- 2 counts of vehicular manslaughter in the 2nd degree
- 4 counts of aggravated DWI with child in car
- 2 counts of endangering welfare of child
Investigators say on April 30th, Palmer struck and killed her ex-husband, 39-year old Donnell Sharp with her car. Their two young children were inside the car with her at the time.
According to the indictment, Palmer was driving with a BAC of .15, nearly twice the legal limit.
The 36-year-old's driver's license was suspended today in court.
Palmer pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on $30,000 bail.
If convicted of all charges, Palmer faces a maximum sentence of 19 years in prison.
