More than 1,000 Homeland Security and emergency management personnel will be coming to Buffalo.
The National Homeland Security Conference will be held in the Queen City from June 6-8, 2017 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
Officials estimate this will bring $2 million into the local economy, including the more than 3,000 downtown hotel rooms that will be occupied.
Buffalo was selected in part because it is a border community.
