Theft at Buffalo's Shakespeare in the Park

The theft of thousands of dollars worth of equipment is not part of the script for the people who run Buffalo's Shakespeare in the Park.

They say, "the show must go on", but that will be no easy task for the free outdoor theater in Delaware Park.

Police are trying to figure out who stole all that equipment from a storage shed sometime this weekend.

Lisa Ludwig, the managing director, says the microphones and audio monitors are locked up every night in a shed.

That shed was broken into.

She says police are checking places where someone would sell this type of theatre equiptment to see if the stolen goods show up.

Other theater groups have stepped up to the plate donating equipment to keep the shows running.
