Buffalo school district starts 5 new schools

Students  in the Buffalo School district will have a chance to expand their horizons.  The district is offering five new schools and programs for incoming freshman in September.

A Saturday morning meeting held at Bennett High School gave parents, students and teachers a chance to talk about their options.

"We have Bennett High School starting with new group of computer programs, animation, to hardware to software design and 3D printing," said Kathy Heinle the director of technical education for the district. "We have East High School which is opening with a police, fire academy and paralegal studies."

South park high school will teach students how to make solar panels. Lafayette High School will have an English program geared towards helping students from out of the country.
