The Buffalo Public School Board chose former board member Lou Petrucci to fill the Park District seat.
The board met during a closed door session Thursday night.
Petrucci will serve until May 2019 when the superboard election takes place. All seats will be open for election during that time.
Petrucci fills the Park District seat, most recently held by Catherine Flanagan-Priore and formerly Carl Paladino.
