A Buffalo police officer is suspended with pay following his arrest on a charge of driving while intoxicated while off-duty.
Officer David Rodriguez was involved in an accident at Main and Allen around 9 p.m. Friday, according to a Buffalo police spokesperson. Police say his vehicle hit another vehicle from behind. No one was hurt.
Rodriguez was arrested and charged with DWI.
An internal investigation is underway.
Rodriguez is a 23-year veteran of the department.
