Buffalo Police are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight just before 3:30 a.m.
A 24-year-old Buffalo man was transported to ECMC by a civilian vehicle after he was struck by gunfire.
According to police, it appears the incident happened at East Lovejoy Street and Ideal Street and may have been the result of a drive-by incident.
The victim has since been treated and released.
