Buffalo police investigate two pedestrians hit by drivers

One person was rushed to Erie County Medical Center after reports of a pedestrian involved crash.

AMR dispatchers say they were called out to E Utica and Michigan about 10:45 p.m. Monday.

Our breaking news photographer arrived as ambulance crews were taking that person to the hospital.

We don't know anything about their condition.

Buffalo police have not provided any information about this case.

An hour and a half earier, Buffalo police say a woman was hit by a car on Niagara Street at Hudson.

After hitting the woman, police say the driver of the car hit a bus shelter.

Police say the woman and the female driver were taken to ECMC where they were treated and released.

The driver of the car was issued two summons for unlicensed operation of a vehicle and going through a red light.

The driver's name has not been released.
