It wasn't fireworks making noise in the middle of the afternoon in Buffalo on Independence Day. Police say it was gunshots.
Two men were shot around 1pm near Dodge Street and Roehrer Avenue and were driven to ECMC in a private vehicle. The victims, a 34-year-old man and 39-year-old man, were both struck in the legs and have non-life threatening injuries.
