Buffalo Police detective arrested for DWI

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - 7 Eyewitness News has learned that a member of the Buffalo Police Department was arrested for DWI in Cheektowaga early Monday morning.

Police say Detective Mark Locicero was driving a station-issued vehicle at the time of the incident.

According to Buffalo Police, an internal affairs investigation is now underway while Locicero is suspended without pay.

Police say Locicero hit a parked car in the Wegmans parking lot on Transit Road with his unmarked police car.

Sources tell 7 Eyewitness News that Locicero refused a breathalyzer test at the scene.
