Buffalo Police nab shooting suspect using camera

Buffalo Police used camera surveillance to catch a Buffalo man wanted in connection with a shooting that took place on Mother's Day. 

Cameras captured the suspect firing a gun in a white Nissan Frontier off of Genesee Street and Walden this past Sunday at around 5 p.m. 

The suspect, 21 year old Deshaun Goodwin of Buffalo, was apprehended by police Monday afternoon after an officer spotted the vehicle traveling on Ferry matching the description.

Goodwin fled police, running through stop signs before bailing out of the vehicle on Wex Avenue.  Police found a loaded revolver in the area of where Goodwin was arrested.

Goodwin is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, resisting arrest along with other charges.
