Buffalo Police ask for public's help in tracking down a bank robbery suspect

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Buffalo Police need your help finding a person they say robbed a bank on the city's south side.

Police say the suspect walked into the M&T Bank branch on Dorrance Avenue around 9:00 Wednesday morning and demanded cash from the teller before running off.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, with the hood up and drawstrings pulled in tightly.

Police are unsure how much cash was stolen, but say they were able to recover some of it shortly after the incident.
