Most Buffalonians will tell you that the best pizza is right in their backyard, now they have the stats to back it up.
In a recent study done by SmartAsset, Buffalo was revealed to be the second-best city for pizza lovers in the country, only trailing Detroit on the list.
Buffalo beat out the likes of New York City, Pittsburgh, and Columbus.
According to the article, Buffalo has about 12 pizza places per 10,000 residents, which is 17th- most in the country.
Yelp reviewers in the area gave Queen city pizzeria's an average rating of 3.48, the 12th highest average rating in the study.
