Buffalo Music Hall of Fame announces 2017 inductees

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Queen City's Music Hall of Fame revealed a royal lineup of talented musicians for this year's induction.

Among the 10 inductees are Wayne Sharpe, who composed the Miss Universe theme; Terry Buchwald, nationally and locally known as an Elvis tribute artist; and Chauncey Olcott, best known for co-writing "My Wild Irish Rose."

The inductees will be formally honored at the 35th Induction Ceremony Gala on Thursday, October 5th at the Cardinal O'Hara Performing Arts Center in Tonawanda.
