Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said he was shocked to learn of the corruption case against three top executives from L.P. Ciminelli.
He also said he doesn't believe it will tarnish the project's reputation.
"The project has been moving forward. It's on time and on budget People have been working, and we are very pleased with the economic development progress that's taken place in the City of Buffalo over the last decade," Brown said.
