The Buffalo Marathon is now 16 days away, with more than 7,300 athletes expected to participate. Now, organizers are putting out the call for volunteers. They need about 1,500 volunteers in total.
New for 2018, fireworks will welcome runners as they cross the finish line.
Man's best friend will also have a role in this year's marathon events.
The inaugural Ruffalo Stampede, is a 1k event for dogs and their owners. The event is currently sold out with 200 dogs expected to participate.
