Buffalo Police say a Buffalo man was stabbed in the head early Saturday morning in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood.
According to police, around 4 a.m. officers responded to a stabbing call on the 80 block of Sears Avenue, upon arrival officers found a 51-year-old male with a stab wound to his head.
He was transported to ECMC with serious injuries.
Police have the suspect, 50-year-old Calvette Sheppard, in custody.
Sheppard is being charged with felony assault and misdemeanor weapons possession.
