39-year-old Raymond Gonzalez has been sentenced to ten years in prison and five years post-release supervision for the death of a 1-year-old boy.
State Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang found Gonzalez guilty of Manslaughter in the First Degree for engaging in conduct that caused the death of his girlfriend's infant son, James Velazquez.
Velazquez suffered severe head trauma on May 2, 2010 in a home on Busti Avenue in Buffalo and later died of his injuries.
