Buffalo man arraigned for serious injury crash

The District Attorney's Office announced this afternoon Marshawn Levy, 33 of Buffalo has been arraigned. 

He's charged with vehicular assault and two counts of DWI, following a crash in Buffalo. 

Levy allegedly operated a vehicle with a BAC almost twice the legal limit. He was headed northbound on Bailey Avenue when he struck a car that was stopped in the southbound lane to make a turn onto East Delavan Road. 

The collision caused serious physical injury to the driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Dwight Daniels of Depew and his passenger, 25-year-old Trevor Jenkins. Jenkins is still at ECMC being treated for injuries. 

Levy pleaded not guilty and bail was set at $5,000.

If convicted, he faces a maximum of seven years in prison.
