Buffalo Float raises money for Relay For Life

Sunday morning's rain couldn't keep over 50 kayakers out of the water as they attempted to create the largest free floating mass of kayaks Western New York has ever seen.

Proceeds of the event are going towards the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

The float was originally scheduled to take place at Buffalo's Outer Harbor, but was moved to Riverworks due to a small craft warning from the Coast Guard.

After the float, participants are gathering for an after party at Riverworks.
