Buffalo firefighter hurt at vacant house fire

A Buffalo firefighter was hurt while working a fire inside a vacant house on Germania Street, overnight Monday.

American Medical Response dispatchers tell 7 Eyewitness News, the firefighter was taken to Erie County Medical Center.

Fire dispatchers say the firefighter suffered minor injuries.

Firefighters were called to the house just before 1:00 a.m.  Germania Street is off of South Park Avenue in South Buffalo.  

Dispatchers say the cause of the fire is under investigation.  Damage at the house is estimated at $90,000.

There's no word on the firefighter's name or condition.
