UPDATE: Buffalo Police arrested 37-year-old, Buffalo native Cuansharee Palmer Wednesday night and charged her with negligent homicide, felony DWI, and endangering the welfare of a minor. Authorities confirm Palmer is the ex-wife of slain Donnell Sharp.

Palmer was expected to be arraigned in Buffalo City Court today.

Original: On East Morris Street in Buffalo, family and friends of Donnell Sharp gather. It's not an address they mourn near, rather a tree. On April 30th, Sharp was killed when he was hit by a car and pinned against it.

I want to see justice, said his sister, Marquita.

Tuesday is a special day for Sharp's family.

He would have been 40-years-old if he wasn't murdered and killed and it's going to be hard to go on without him. Added Marquita.

Donnells sister says she knows who was driving the car. She says it was Donnell's ex-wife behind the wheel, with their two kids in back seat.

Buffalo Police say the investigation is ongoing, but Sharp's family wants to see some action.

We just want justice done and we want a proper investigation, said William Sharp, Donnells father.

Sharp's family acquired his death certificate.

Intentionally struck by a vehicle and homicide, it says it right here, homicide, said William.

Police would not say if Sharp's ex-wife is a suspect. While investigators with the BPD won't say if they are close to an arrest, they did say they are making progress regarding this case.
