The Buffalo Central Terminal wants to host more events starting in 2019.

The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation says they want to partner with a planner that can help the non-for-profit organization expand on recent momentum.

“We’re incredibly proud of our volunteers and our board for doing an amazing job managing our popular events and bringing so many people inside to experience this magical building,” said Jim Hycner, chair of the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation. “On the recommendation of the Urban Land Institute study, we know we need to take our events to the next level so we’re looking for a partner who brings creative ideas, marketing solutions and event management experience to push us to new heights next year.”

The Central Terminal will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2019.

Officials with the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation say they manage more than 30 events a year. They are also looking for fresh ideas and want to breathe new life into the schedule and attract diverse groups of people.

Submissions for the request for proposal (RFP) is due Wednesday, January 16th. Those interested in submitting for the RFP can visit BuffaloCentralTerminal.org.
