A Buffalo business owner is one of 30 breast cancer survivors taking part in a special runway show in NYC for Fashion Week. The show is Sunday, February 11.

Susan Morreale was diagnosed in 2007. “I know the exact date: March 14, 2007,” she said.

Morreale owns "Her Story" on Elmwood Avenue. “We've always had different things in here that are made by women supporting women,” explained Morreale.

She sells a collection of bras for cancer survivors, designed by cancer survivor, Dana Donofree. “It's a combo of still feeling good and beautiful and also being comfortable.”

Morreale said she and Donofree became friends and last month, she was asked to be a part of the Donofree’s fashion show featuring all breast cancer survivors. “I was beyond excited,” Morreale exclaimed.

The show is Saturday in New York City. Morreale is one of 30 survivors walking the catwalk. She said she'll be doing it for her sister who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2015.

“I have those days where I feel a little guilty like how come my sister didn't beat this disease and I did? So, I really want to help find a cure,” she added.
