7 Eyewitness News meterologist and reporter Mike Randall is being inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Randall has been with 7 Eyewitness News since August of 1983. He's one of Western New York's most beloved feature reporters and meterologists. He's worn many hats during his decades at channel 7.

Randall co-hosted Good Morning Western New York from 1989 until 1999. In 1991, Randall and Bob Stilson revived the popular WKBW-TV kids's show, Rocketship 7.

In 1999 Randall took over as chief meterologist from Tom Jolls.

Randall is a Western New York native, living in North Boston with his wife Kathy. He's also a professional actor and an award-winning playwright. He's been onstage with Shakespeare in Delaware Park.  He continues to perform his solo shows of Mark Twain Live! and Charles Dickens Presents: A Christmas Carol.

Other BBA Hall of Fame 2017 inductees include Pete Weber, Carl Russo, Jim Pastrick, Dick Greene and Ray Marks.

We congratulate Mike and all his years of dedication and talent at WKBW.
