7 Eyewitness News meterologist and reporter Mike Randall is being inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
Randall has been with 7 Eyewitness News since August of 1983. He's one of Western New York's most beloved feature reporters and meterologists. He's worn many hats during his decades at channel 7.
Randall co-hosted Good Morning Western New York from 1989 until 1999. In 1991, Randall and Bob Stilson revived the popular WKBW-TV kids's show, Rocketship 7.
In 1999 Randall took over as chief meterologist from Tom Jolls.
Randall is a Western New York native, living in North Boston with his wife Kathy. He's also a professional actor and an award-winning playwright. He's been onstage with Shakespeare in Delaware Park. He continues to perform his solo shows of Mark Twain Live! and Charles Dickens Presents: A Christmas Carol.
Other BBA Hall of Fame 2017 inductees include Pete Weber, Carl Russo, Jim Pastrick, Dick Greene and Ray Marks.
