Buffalo Bills and fans mourn the passing of former head coach Chuck Knox

Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Buffalo Bills and their fans are mourning the loss of former head coach Chuck Knox. 

Knox died Saturday in hospice care near his home in California. 

The Bills offered their condolences on social media this weekend. Knox was named the NFL Head Coach of the year three times. One of those seasons was with the Bills back in 1980, when Buffalo snapped their 20-game losing streak against the Dolphins. 

Knox suffered from dementia later in life. He was 86-years-old.
