After sifting through over two dozen possible relocation sites, Brooks Memorial Hospital is still looking to narrow its options down to two or three preferred locations.
The hospital is looking to move as part of a new affiliation with TLC Health Network and Kaleida Health to help coordinate care, enhance clinical partnerships and secure Brooks Memorial's presence in the region. They were given a joint $57 million grant that was secured earlier this year through New York State's Essential Healthcare Provider Support Program.
The three parties aim to form an integrated delivery system with the Dunkirk campus taking traditional inpatient hospital services, and the Irving campus becoming the ambulatory location with specialty inpatient and complimentary outpatient services.
TLC Health plans to renovate its campus to focus on ambulatory surgery, imaging, and specialty services.
Brooks Hospital is also looking to build a new facility, including surgical suites, imaging, labs, and supporting services.
