A broken water line flooded eight courtrooms inside the Erie County Courthouse in downtown Buffalo Monday morning.
The flooding happened on the north side of the building, affecting the following judges:
- Hon. James McLeod
- Hon. Deborah Haendiges
- Hon. M. William Boller
- Hon. Russell Buscaglia
- Hon. John Michalski
- Hon. Christopher Burns
- Hon. Dennis WardH
- Hon. Emilio Colaiacovo
Court officials say the damage is so extensive, the courtrooms will be off-limits for several weeks.
No cases have been adjourned. The court calendars of all affected judges have been moved to vacant courtrooms within the building.
