The largest tire and rubber manufacturer in the world has opened up a new facility in Niagara County.
Bridgestone Automotive Parts Manufacturing has officially opened its new 65,000 square-foot facility in the Town of Wheatfield.
Governor Andrew Cuomo says the $13.6 million project is expected to create at least 89 new jobs over the next five years. The facility was built on an 11-acre site in the Vantage International Point industrial park.
The facility is scheduled to start limited production of seat foam for customers this November.
