A bridge on the Buffalo waterfront now represents the journey endured by cancer survivors. More than 100 cancer survivors joined officials from Roswell Park Cancer Institute to dedicate the "Bridge of Hope" at Canalside on Thursday.
The "Bridge of Hope" gives cancer survivors the opportunity to hang a bell to celebrate survivorship. The ringing of a bell is a wide spread tradition at cancer centers for when a cancer patient finishes treatment.
