Erie County Sheriff's deputies say a barricade situation on Springbrook Court in Clarence has ended peacefully.
Deputies were called to the scene just before 8 p.m over reports of a person barricaded inside a bedroom, possibly with a knife. It's believed that person may have escaped through a window in the home.
Deputies say that individual was taken into custody without incident.
There is no word on what prompted the person to barricade them self inside the home or whether or not they were alone.
