Buffalo Public Schools is warning parents of a stranger danger incident that happened in the Elmwood Village on Thursday morning.

In a letter sent to parents officials say that the Buffalo Police Department is investigating complaints of a man who approached students at a bus stop located at Elmwood and Utica. The man reportedly offered to sell the students drugs and then grabbed the arm of a female student. The bus arrived and all students boarded.

The individual involved is described as an African American male standing at approximately 5-foot-6. He was reportedly wearing a red collared shirt and a black baseball cap.

BPS is asking that parents have a conversation with children about how to avoid strangers and to pass along the description of this individual.

If you have any information you are asked to call Buffalo Police.
