A Buffalo Police Officer is facing an internal investigation and charges after a revealing photo has been exposed.
7 Eyewitness News has learned the officer, who owns a photography studio took a racy photo of a woman, using his department issued handgun and uniform as props.
The Buffalo Police Department says, "The Department has been aware. An internal investigation was opened some time ago by the Internal Affairs Division."
Commissioner Derenda was made aware of this incident a few weeks ago. Police are now investigating to see if the officer broke the code of conduct.
When reached by phone Thursday, the officer involved said he could not comment on the investigation or the photo, but did say it was a "private photo."
