BPD investigating after a man was shot on Phyllis Ave overnight

The Buffalo Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that happened overnight.

Detectives say a Buffalo man in his late 20s was shot just after 2:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Phyllis Avenue.

According to police, he was transported to Erie County Medical Center by ambulance.

The man is listed in critical condition, according to officials.
