The 7-year-old boy from Niagara Falls who was attacked by two dogs is now recovering at home.

Kaden Mitchell was severely injured after being attacked by his family member's two rottweilers in June.  He was put into a medically-induced coma, and spent a month in the hospital.

On Thursday, doctors released Kaden from the hospital.  His head is still wrapped in bandages as he continues his recovery, but the young boy's excitement to leave the hospital was made evident in a video of him doing a 'happy dance' in his hospital room.

"Up until last night, we didn't know when he was coming home. They told us 'sometime next week', and one of the other doctors said 'next month'. So when they sprung it on us and said he's getting out tomorrow, it was like, wow, how did this happen," Roy Gregory, Kaden's grandfather, said.

Gregory is amazed at his grandson's progress.  However, Kaden has a long road to recovery.

Kaden's family says he needs more surgery and a neck brace for the next six to nine months.

The two dogs were euthanized shortly after the attack.
