An Ontario man is facing charges after trying to cross into the United States from Canada with child pornography, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.
Officers at the Rainbow Bridge say a man from Kitchener was acting strange while they were speaking with him at the port of entry. Officers say they became increasingly concerned about the 20-year-old man's intentions and performed a search on his phone. Officers say they found images that appeared to be child pornography.
Officers contacted the New York State Police, who arrested the man. He is charged with possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
The man's name has not been released at this time.
