Buffalo Police along with underwater dive teams are investigating skeletal remains that have washed up along the shores of Lake Erie.
Police say the remains are human and "have been there for a considerable amount of time."
The call initially went out around 10:45 a.m. Friday morning. Buffalo Police and Fire responded to a Harbour Pointe Commons address, which is right next to LaSalle Park.
Police dive teams have gone into the water along the shore as part of the investigation.
