Body found on sidewalk in Buffalo's Grider neighborhood

Buffalo police are investigating after a body was found on Lark Street in Buffalo's Grider neighborhood early Tuesday morning.

Police say a 37-year-old Buffalo man was shot. Police and firefighters responded to the scene at 2:30 a.m. His body was found on the sidewalk.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

An investigation is underway, and at one point more than a dozen police officers were on the scene.
