The Erie 1 BOCES Harkness Career and Technical Center is currently on lock out and Friday afternoon classes are cancelled due to an unconfirmed threat.
The center is located on Aero Drive in Cheektowaga and offers more than 20 career-training programs for high school students.
Police are investigating the threat and mid-session classes were released as planned at 12:15 p.m.
BOCES is expected to provide an update after the police investigation is concluded.
