Concerned parents whose children attend Tapestry Charter School got their way.

The School's Board of Trustees voted to reject a plan to move K-5 students to a new building at 345 Olympic Avenue on Buffalo's east side.

Parents were upset because they say their input was never considered, and are now pleased with the board's decision.

"I am satisfied. I recognize that things need to change," said Karyn Brady, a parent of a Tapestry student. "I recognize that, but I think this was too rushed."

A number of parent and community meetings will be held before the board votes on any proposal in the future.
