Bills fans play taps, lay 2016 season to rest after Week One

What did you do after the Bills' deflating loss to the Ravens on Sunday?

Some fans turned off the TV, some went for a long walk, and some laid the 2016 season to rest - yes, after Week One.

A video posted on the Facebook page of Adam Drzyzga titled "How every Buffalo fan feels after the Ravens game" has been shared close to 10,000 times since Sunday. It shows fans decked out in their Bills best saluting the team's flag outside a Kenmore home as taps plays in the background.

The flag of Buffalo's beloved Bills is then taken down and replaced with the flag of the Buffalo Sabres. Taps gives way to the infectious sound of Aram Khachaturian's' Sabre dance,' and happiness ensues.

"My friend Lou told everyone at the Bills party that he would replace the Bills flag with a Sabres flag if the Bills lost," Drzyzga said. "My friend Justin suggested we record it like a funeral setting for comedic relief."

Drzyzga says the video is all in good fun, and he and his friends will always be Bills fans - through the ups and downs of 16 weeks of regular season football.

"We are die hard," he said. "Just wanted to make light of the situation!"
