Bill Cosby is suing Buffalo-born super-model Beverley Johnson for defamation claiming she's made false, malicious and defamatory accusations that he drugged her 30 years ago.
The 78 year old Cosby filed the lawsuit Monday in California. He is suing for compensatory and punitive damages. Cosby claims the accusations in a book written by Johnson are all lies, and he wants the chapter deleted from her memoir.
More than 50 women have accused Cosby of drugging, and or sexually abusing them over the past three decades.
The 63 year old Johnson has so far not responded to the court action announced today.
