A 16-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a car while riding her bike on Union Road Monday.
Police say Sherilann Lorenz was crossing Union Road at the westbound Kensington Expressway on-ramp when she was hit by a vehicle traveling north on Union Road.
The driver of the vehicle was cooperative and no charges are pending at this time.
Lorenz was lifeguard with the Town of Cheektowaga.
A GoFundMe campaign has been established to help the Lorenz family with Sherilann's medical expenses.
