(WKBW) — As we round out the year, we like to look back at some of the big trends that stuck around not only this year but this decade. And one thing Americans love is their dogs!
'Bella' was found to be the most popular dog name of the past decade.
The website MyDogsNames.com compiled a list of the most common names for 2019 and noticed the trend.
They found that Bella topped the list for female dogs every year since the website launch about ten years ago.
As for just 2019, Daisy, Luna, Willow and Roxy rounded out the rest of the list for most popular name for girls.
Bear, Milo, Archie, Oreo and Bailey were the most popular for boys.
Experts are predicting a big influence from Frozen 2 this year, so when it comes to 2020 top names you might hear more "Elsa" and "Ana" at the dog parks!
