Families in need will now have a comfortable place to sleep thanks to the generosity of Western New Yorkers.
The Kaleida Health Foundation delivered more than 40 beds Tuesday morning to Child and Family Services on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo purchased through a $7,000 donation from the foundation.
Child and Family Services began a bed drive for families during the holiday season. Twenty-five people received a new bed by Christmas, and the Kaleida Health Foundation answered the call for dozens more beds.
Child and Family Services is one of the largest private, not-for-profit service agencies in the nation. It provides support to more than 10,000 children and families each year in Western New York.
