Firefighters in Fredonia had a tough blaze to extinguish late Monday night when a barn went up in flames.
By the time crews arrived on Fredonia/Stockton Road at 11:40pm, the barn was fully engulfed. The outside of the barn had steel siding and inside were several gas cylinders and old timbers. According to firefighters, that combined with cold weather made it a difficult attack.
Several fire companies were called in for mutual aid to provide water and it took around three hours to put out the fire.
