Attorney of boy, 13, connected to Lockport fire arson expects he will be charged

The attorney representing the 13-year-old boy involved in the Lockport fire says he will be charged.

The fire at the HTI Recycling plant in August was determined to be arson and left 14-year-old Joe Phillips dead.

Attorney Angelo Dimillo says he believes his client will be charged in connection to the fire in family court within the next week or two.

Dimillo would not comment on the nature of the charges or the demeanor of the boy.

Dimillo says the boy is likely to be charged as a juvenile delinquentt.
