An attorney has been attacked by an inmate at the Erie County Holding Center.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, Joseph Terranova was meeting with inmate Mark Dublino in a private, contact allowed, conference room Friday morning, when Dublino allegedly attacked him.
Officials say Terranova sustained injuries to his upper body and face.
Dublino was provided medical care and taken to a local hospital for additional treatment.
Dublino is in the holding center waiting for further court proceedings for attacking 3 people back in June 2016.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, and additional charges are pending.
